THE SOUTH INDIAN OCEAN BILLFISH COMPETITION 2027
Organised by LE MORNE ANGLERS CLUB, Black River, Mauritius from 31st January 2027 to 6th February 2027.
Since inception in 2000, the SIOBC has grown to become the major International Billfish event in Southern Indian Ocean. Le Morne Anglers Club was founded in 1955 and joined the International Game Fish Association as member club in 1957. The Club house is situated in Black River Bay which opens directly on the deep waters of the Indian Ocean. With its official IGFA weighing station and docking facilities for boats, Le Morne Anglers Club is a major player in organising sportfishing tournaments.
